Description: Camera PENTAX LX on tripod and PENTAX Zoom 40-80 mm (on 80 mm). Kodak slidechrome 100 ISO Ektachrome HC (set 125 ISO). F16. Shutter Speed: 1/60s. Mirror blocked-up; shutter release cable to avoid vibrations(Techn. Data about landscape in background). Place: Pienza-Tuscany-Italy-Val d’Orcia This is a plan for a postcard using “Clipping Mask” in Photoshop. Interesting and useful technique for a wide range of post-processing(s). First of all double click on padlock of the layer landscape. Then open a new layer’s text. Write using Big-Block letters. Move this layer down landscape layer. Click on and select landscape layer; choose Clipping Mask in the panel’s menu of layers. Open a new Solid Color layer(close to Fx of panel layers, click on the circle half B&W) and move this between land and text layer. Use Fx-track (panel Layer) to edit coloured border lines of text(choose text layer) at your own liking…Choose EMBOSS (Fx style)to give a low or high profile to your border coloured lines. If you need open a new text layer for writing Greetings or other sentences….I hope these words will be useful to You.PS: Val d'Orcia means Valley of (river)Orcia.By the way: to match landscape (pine tree)through letters of text layer simply choose "move icon" on tools' panel(the first icon at top)...Move and drag land or text at your own liking, using left/right or up/down arrows. That's All Folk!!!
