Description: I was walking along lake-side with my camera and tripod when this screenplay appeared in front of my eyes. A good start I thought, as it was Jan.1st, 2013. Sun was falling down and its red-warm rays depicted strange lights and dyes onto lake’s surface and at the top of mountains,in background, covered with a snow’s bonnet. PENTAX K20D on tripod, remote control and PENTAX Zoom 12-24mm. See EXIF.This is not an HDR capture. For general infos refer to my previous upload named “Terrace on Garda Lake”. I decided for a vertical compo because the pole in foreground suggested me such a choice.

Great composition. The foreground is well balanced with the towers of the buildings in background. Like the colors and think the vertical format is the best choice for this picture and for this compositional elements. Congrats

Wonderful mood and very beautiful picture, Giulio. Yes, the vertical format was a great option because of the foreground post, congrats!
