Description: Picture taken on Oct. 23rd, 2012 (afternoon) using a Pentax K1000 on tripod. Kodak Film T-Max 400 ISO promptly processed same day and then scanned using an Epson Scanner 3200. Place: San Quirico d’Orcia-Tuscany-Italy. Usually I prefer to take colour pictures of this area but sunny light of that moment (with over exposed areas) suggested me to follow this path. I used BW file in Alien Skin Exposure 3 and then in CS5 so to give back a better idea of lights, shadows and middle tones at that moment. IMHO it was also important to stack foreground and background so to enhace the importance of farm and pine-trees in the lower left corner. For this reason I focused on the farm using an open F number. (F 5,6 Shutter Speed 1/500). PENTAX Lens Zoom 40-80 mm on 80 mm).

Un paesaggio riconoscibile.
Una scelta pertinente per lo sviluppo.
