Description: Place: Lake Trasimeno-Italy. Camera Pentax K20D on tripod and Pentax zoom lens 12-24mm. No filters. Natural light only of late afternoon. Sun was going down and clouds threatened to rain. It was windy and cold and I had no gloves with me. I had a lot of problems to take this pic. At the end my fingers were icicles. Date: Febr. 2007. I’m used to visit this place several times in a year…but in these last 30 years I had never seen before such an atmosphere and such colours. In special way lake dyes were so deep and “green-yellow” that I thought to be in front of a Yellow Sea or an Olive Oil Sea. These impressions suggested me the title.

Come tu definisci,ci porti d'innanzi ad un mare di olio d'oliva.
Un land particolare e interessante per i vari elementi.
Bravo Giulio.

Very nice indeed! At first I thought it was one of your film works :)

Thx a lot, Dominic.
